Snow, here today gone today

A boring post for any reader who has been snowbound for months. In typical UK fashion our weather changed from sun then rain on Saturday to snow then sun today (Sunday). Assorted seasons compressed into two days. There was no work to be done in the garden or allotment today. My poultry took it all in their stride at 9.30 am this morning as I went outside with my camera.

Wee don’t see snow very often in South Hertfordshire, and it never lasts very long. In fact I’m writing this at 4pm when the sky is blue, the sun is shining and there isn’t any snow to be seen. I’m sure other parts of the UK have fared much worse. But for me this is now just a memory. Mind you the weather kept the squirrels away so there was an upside!

“Here today, gone today…” is the very best type of snow! :)
