		<description>I wouldn&#039;t put it past squirrels either, last year it upset me when i saw  a squirrel raid a nest in one of the trees at the back of our house. Nature can be cruel.

		<description>Squirrels or Greater Spotted Woodpeckers would be my guess, you&#039;ll know if it was a woodpecker, they enlarge the hole to get in usually, so you will see evidence of their drilling. Squirrels usually gnaw too, so again, you&#039;ll see teeth marks.

Really sorry that this has happened, but as they say, Nature is &#039;red in tooth and claw&#039;
