I gather there are some with red flowers. CityGarden - I think they would look great in Greece - very appropriate for many areas. I wonder what "well covered" refers to? Must look that up. (ok! it's greek word meaning "well covered" :P) Beautiful high tree, we have Eucalyptus in south. They came in Europe from Australia and the first tree in Greece planted in Athens at 1864. I have a few (not this one )in my garden. I love them. Last year when I was travelling in Portugal I saw many Eucalyptus plantations probably for woodchip)! The bark is so beautiful when it peels off. There are so many different ones to plant. I had a few broken by strong wind. This is a beautiful Eucalyptus. I have a few (not this one )in my garden.
