Please stop trying to hide from me
There is always one that gets away no matter how hard you try.
I’d already spent time in the allotment picking beans and courgettes. The Digger goes out a few hours later and strolls back in with the dark green one. Perhaps I’m going to have to wear my reading glasses in future. I think this calls for a stuffed courgette recipe sometime over the weekend.

Courgettes, here they are called zucchini or zucchetti must be the fastest growing vegetables. When they outgrow their usefulness I feed them to the chooks. I do love their subtle flavour.
That’s why I started growing yellow courgettes - easier to spot before they take over the universe! Mind you, this year has been a washout, courgette-wise for us.
