My potting area, dreams and junk
Apart from wanting a second greenhouse I also dream of having my own garden shed. It would have a window, with a view of the garden, a comfortable chair and a spacious potting area. A picture on the wall would be nice, electricity, a radio perhaps as well as a sink with water (preferably hot and cold). Lots of shelves and a cupboard. Wi-fi access for a laptop so I could update my planting lists etc. I could go on and on. It’s there in my head. It was what I was thinking about as I tidied up my actual potting area. This is my end of the garage the tidy area, filled with gardening essentials
Our garage has contained a car only once. Shortly afterwards the garden stuff and large amounts of junk filled up the available space. Of course I differentiate between my indispensable gardening items and the Digger’s rubbish which mostly fills up the other end. You can see why the car doesn’t get a look in.

Where does all the junk come from, a guess the answere is that we consume to much…I do ask myself the same question about the pots, where do they come from all the empty pots what I have to clean each year? The answere to that is I’m a seedahollic! Have a great weekend/ LOL Tyra
Your end looks really tidy and civilized. Does anyone keep a car in their garage anymore? I would love a nice potting shed too, and a second greenhouse – and a lap top {sigh}
I am very impressed with all your pots nicely sat on the shelves. :)

Hi there easygardener :-)
Oh… I am certain your potting shed will be worth waiting for! This spring/summer I finally found one I love – although without sink and perhaps one day it may have electricity I am thrilled with it. I will be posting on it next week so you can share in mine until you get one of your own :-D
Have a great weekend :-D
Have you checked out http://www.shedworking.co.uk? Then you’ll feel really, REALLY wistful…
I guess many of us have this sort of garage cum place where we store “junk” we don’t want yet get rid off. We clean it up from time to time but it accumulates again.
You have described my dream potting shed. I print it out and stick it on my vegetable gardeners laptop!
NAH and I are constantly arguing about each others ‘rubbish’ stored in the garage. Of course my ‘rubbish’ is all the essential items for the garden and his, well it’s rubbish.
Does anyone have room in their garage for a car these days?
I do hope your dreams come true soon!
I hear you! All I’m after is a simple gardening bench. Do you think we can fit that in anywhere?
Your dream sounds fantastic and I hope it comes true soon!
