Georgie update. The crisis may be over. Possibly.

Georgie update: With reference to my earlier post. We have had a heart to heart chat about noisy builders and Georgie my cat is feeling more secure. She now has an indoor litter tray for emergencies and a little house to hide in on the landing upstairs. She would prefer a large continental quilt to lie under but I have to draw the line somewhere. A quilt is better at blocking out noise but I would keep tripping over it on the way into the bedroom.

The other two cats are feeling very superior. They lie on  chairs and appear to go unconscious. That is their way of coping with a disturbed routine.

Thank you to all those who gave such good advice when commenting on my earlier post. We are both very grateful. Well I am. Georgie was not amused that I carried her house downstairs to take a picture in sunlight. Now that I have taken it back upstairs she has climbed inside….. ignoring me…… as usual.

I’m glad she’s feeling better. It so unsettling when our animals are unhappy…

Poor soul. But how fortunate she is to have such a lovely little cat house. I had a couple of great aunts who lived in a home and didn’t speak for 20 years – they had stations in the house that they would visit/use at an appointed time. Had no idea that kitties would carve up a residence in order to keep peace.

So glad to hear she is having a better time, and you less presents to clear up!

Hi EG, Georgie’s happiness is paramount to life continuing normally for you it seems. Her house is precious, so glad the situation seems to be under control. For now! :-)
