Peanuts and Fat – that looks good.

This is Baby Hooligan’s bigger brother Teenage Hooligan. We all know that forbidden food tastes the sweetest. Stolen forbidden food is sweeter still.

P.S. I’d covered the fat block with chilli pepper which squirrels are supposed to hate!!!!!!

Squirrel TH: “I’ve eaten the food on the open bird table and on the ground. I’ve ripped the squirrel feeder off its chain, then eaten all the peanuts. I’ve sat in the water bowl….Hmmmm”.

What’s a poor squirrel to do next?

Squirrel on fat feeder

Is there fat in that feeder?

Note the well manicured toe nails

Note my well manicured toe nails and incredibly strong toes

So much for that useless squirrel baffle hanging above

I'll try peanuts now. Fancy thinking that dome would keep me off!

Isn't this just great

This is just so easy

That Teenage Hooligan is a clever acrobat for sure! ;)

OMG, this is hooliganism/vandalism at its worst!

He’s quite a bruiser and just as athletic as the brutes we have around here :(

At the moment the birds aren’t being fed. Crisis point will be reached when there’s no longer any berries left on the trees as I’ll probably cave in and put the feeders out…

You just need a big ol’ pecan tree to distract those hooligans…

Grin, those hooligans are pretty clever not to mention acrobatic. I wonder what cunning plan you will think of next to feed the birds and not the squirrels. :-D

Have a great weekend!

Wow, so much for the dome protection! We have a big ol’ walnut tree, several in fact, and that doesn’t compare to the allure of the forbidden bird feeders, as you noted. Manicured toenails, HA!

How in this world did he manage to do that? I have to figure out a way to hang my new feeder my son got me. It’s such a nice one and the squirrels were ripping it up. My uncle said to hang it from a fishing line. He said to mount a fishing pole on a post and then hang the feeder off the line. If I get this accomplished, I’ll certainly post pics.

Squirels are amazing… they’re great pictures… I remember when I had a flat in Edinburgh I’d hung a pack of nuts in one of those red nylon netting bags – you buy them already filled and ready to use – the squirel had scampered along the branch that I’d hung it from, leant over, picked up the nuts into its paws and nibbled the bottom of the netting, he promptly let the nuts go and of course they all fell out the end all over the floor… that was the end of them… quite ingenious really and funny to watch too… sadly we don’t have any squirels at all in Brittany. Will keep my eyes peeled for a sequel to Baby Hooligan’s adventures! Miranda
