All the pieces come together!

In our house this signals the end of the holiday season – the Christmas jigsaw has been completed.

This year the theme was gardening and cats. Very appropriate I think – though the jigsaw pots and tools are way more pristine than my real ones. Talk about perfection!

The cats of course look immaculate in the picture and in reality – that’s cats for you. Always waiting to be admired.

Hi EG, Happy new year to you! What a beautiful puzzle, and I love that tradition of the Christmas puzzle too. I might have to adopt that one here for the clan! Those topiaries are the stuff of imagination rather than reality, and you are so right about the cats, always ready for a closeup. Now let us think about gardening!

“The Christmas Jigsaw” – I knew I had forgotten something this year.
It is a very lovely one. (Lots of cream coloured pieces!)
Happy New Year.

Hi there and a very Happy New Year to you too :-)

A Christmas jigsaw – what a fun idea! I’ve never heard of anyone doing that either. I do love the final image – yes quite an appropriate one too I agree. Very nice. All the best for 2009 :-D

How intriguing! The concept of a Christmas jigsaw is totally new to me but I think I can easily be swayed into adopting it as one of our traditions : )
Happy New Year!

Happy New Year EG to you & yours! Congrats on finishing your garden themed puzzle. What a nice way to spend the month of December when it’s cold & dreary. :)

My Mum does loads of jigsaws and she has completed one of the ones I gave her for Christmas. She asked for lots of jigsaws so my sister and I took her at her word and she has quite a pile now to work through!

Happy New Year!

I see there’s even an upstairs and a downstairs cat on your jigsaw puzzle ;)

That’s a great tradition. I like holiday traditions that keep us home to enjoy them, rather than all the running around and spending money parts. Have a wonderful new year!

Love the puzzle. We did a bunch yesterday when we were reorganizing my daughter’s toy cabinet. I’m afraid they were a bit simpler… like 24 pieces max! Curious George, though, almost as cute as your cats. Happy New Year!

Hi Denise, this is a beautiful puzzle and a very nice tradition too. It will please you through the year. I guess it is a keepsake.

Such a lovely puzzle-turned-picture. I do hope you are going to frame it:) I did that with a beautiful puzzle of the Portland Headlight that we put together when we lived in Maine. Happy New Year!
