This was the funniest thing I read all day. I have done the same thing, tried to intervene and just made it worse. You are right, they have their little ways, they just have to do the dance. Hilarious! And your poor agave, it must have been very confused, acting like a water lily! Glad everyone's okay.

Glad that Halki and the agave both survived the incident unscathed. I do not have any cats now, but enjoy watching the antics of the various feline visitors to our garden, especially the cat who thinks that it's his garden :)

When we first got our 2 cats, Dave - the most timid one indoors is the one that found his aggressive side outdoors. Hes so fluffy that when a fight starts, there bits of his fluff everywhere and he comes in very proud of himself with bits of fur sticking out! Glad to see Halki guarded his property well.

Just a quick note my blog Today I Will Mostly be Growing is now moving to iGrowVeg.com, I was wondering if you would be able to update the link on your blogroll to http://igrowveg.com? Thanks in advance. Tracey.

Cat interactions are arcane and very complex, aren't they?
It seems to involve lots of sitting realtively close to each other, pointedly ignoring each other. I suppose that's better than the alternative, as we have had to take Bill to the vets on occasion.

Glad the agave survived its dunk.

Glad your Agave survived. I can confirm they don't survive a winter sandwiched between the breadmaker and the gas boiler though.

Luckily mine had had a ickle wickle baby to pot up.

yes cats have thier own ways of going on don't they. I used to have cats but since we moved here we took in a stray dog. Don't know what she would think of a cat coming to live with her.
