What will we have today?

I think it’s going to be minty Pea Risotto tonight….

…accompanied by Courgettes fried with olive oil and garlic.

Meals are now dictated by vegetables from the garden. It’s a delicate balance.

One slip and I could be drowned in a sea of produce.

Eeeek!

Sounds like it is going to be very tasty – like the pea face! xxx

CC: They were delicious and I couldn’t resist the face!

Lovely looking produce. It’s fun not knowing what you’re going to eat until you see what’s ready in the garden that day, I think. I’m sure your risotto and fried courgettes were delicious!

Chaiselongue: They were!

It’s a great dilemma to faced with each day though isn’t it ? Those pale courgettes look most interesting. What sort are they ?

Anna: They are Albarello Di Sarzana.

Drowning in a sea of produce would not be a pretty sight! You best eat it all or give it away. The pea risotto looks too cute.

There are worse things to drown in! This is my favorite time of year, when the produce plans the menus. Our own garden is not up to the task, but the newly opened farmers market, open daily, is loaded with that sea and the prices are very cheap. Makes me rethink my whole veggie patch when they have so much for so little. :-)
