Blooming Friday: August, week 2
Here are a few of the flowers blooming in my garden this week.
All the plants are hardy except for the Nasturtium below. I grow it fromĀ seed, saving the seed each year, because I like the colour combination.
Thanks to Katarina at Roses and Stuff for hosting Blooming Friday.

I love your hibiscus, although I’m amazed it remains hardy when the nasturtiums don’t. We can’t really keep a hibiscus going here – they survive a couple of mild winters but then we get a harsh one which fells them.
Blueworld: The Hibiscus are very late to show signs of growth and that seems to protect them.
I’ve only seen dark pink fuschias! Yours are lovely! So are the hibs. Our nasturtiums grow during the winter till maybe, April. It’s wonderful to see them blooming, or at least the photos, at this time of the year. The most striking nasturtiums I’ve seen!
Kanak: I like the Fuchsias with the narrow flowers. There are a surprising variety of colours!
What many beautiful flowers and plants you are viewing. The last beautiful flower lik a jewel and a like the name. /Amanda
Amanda: I agree!

Carol: Very showy and very prolific too!
I just recieved a catalog in the mailbox, offering cyclamen. Now, I belive, I will try it :) I don`t imaging Hibiscus being hardy her though.. Nice flowers your are showing :)
Mia: Do try Cyclamen. They are one of my favourite flowers.
I have not seen cyclamen . Your flowers are beautiful.
Lotusleaf: Thank you. I recommend Cyclamen if you can grow them in your part of the world!
Isn’t that fuchsia gorgeous …and I must dash out to see if the cyclamen is up! gail
Gail: You can never have too many Cyclamen!

Monica
Monica: Yes indeed!
I give “lady bacon” an A+ . While the rest are happy basking under the sun, these prefer to carry themselves as lanterns.
Lovely flowers, all of them.

Everything so pretty, ready for a fiesta! Love Nasturtium, Peach Melba looks very cute. It would be nice to make a Peach Melba desert and decorate with these dainty flowers!
Titiana: Peach Melba does sound very moreish!
Do you have your Hibiscus outdoor all year long? I wish I could do the same. All your flowers are lovely.
Lillibeth: Yes Hibiscus syriacus is perfectly hardy here.
Anemone is really a cute flower! Thanks for your visit!//Eva
I like the nasturtium – very snazzy – I only have plain orange ones. Does yours get covered with cabbage whites every year too?!
Juliet: No it is black fly that I have trouble with!
