Nice flowers! I keep an eucalyptus tree in my greenhouse, but it has not been shedding its bark (yet).

Hi. I have seen trees that replace the bark, it’s beautiful with the old bark and tree new surface. The summer is over you have flowers yet. Very beautiful is the flower Fuchsia ‘Lena’. I like the colors /Amanda

Amanda: Yes the Fuchsia is very colourful and the flowers are large which makes them more showy!

I´ve never heard of a tree shedding its bark. Fantastic! And such a lot of beautiful flowers at the end of summer.

there are two favourites today. The first image and the last. The orange color is really stunning and the trunk of eucalyptus very interesting.

NF: The Crocosmia is an outstanding colour. It always remind me of the skin of an orange!

Your blooms are pretty and happy looking. I like growing different kinds of perennial geraniums, too. I’ve tried crocosmia a few times, but it doesn’t do well here. I’ve had it do OK a couple years, but lately it either it dies over the winter, or stays small when it finally comes up.

Thanks for your comment on my post. The cockscombs are new to me, too, but the seeds have been passed along from old stock for quite awhile. The plants are getting much larger in my neighbor’s yard.

Sue: I have lost some Crocosmias too. Some are definitely stronger growers than others.

Oooh – I spy another Crocosmia for my growing collection – that one’s gorgeous, as is the pelargonium. Lovely photos :D

HM: It is a very strong growing Crocosmia and the flowers are large. Well worth growing.

Beautiful flowers! I love the blue-violet of the Geranium, and the glowing color of the Crocosmia.

Sweet Bay: Yes, both of them have very intense colours that you can see from a distance.
