If you have stayed indoors it could have inflicted more serious damage :) There seem to be vast numbers of Cabbage Whites about this year on our allotment. One of the pother plot holders was lurking about with a net to catch them the other day. He was giving my buddleia a dirty look as he went about his business.

Big year in the garden for pests here, too. At least the caterpillars are cute? Your garden looks fantastic, doesn’t look tired at all for the end of August. Wish I could say the same. Love that Arthropodium candidum ‘Purpureum’

‘Synchronised nibbling’ is too funny!! I hope something will remain?! Love the first shot too. I find it difficult to photograph tiny blooms. You did great!

Love the first shot of the path through your garden. It has peaked my curiosity to see what’s around the bend. :) Bad caterpillars, leave those seedheads alone. Now shoo!

Damn caterpillars. You have to keep a beady eye open for those. They can strip a plant of its leaves in no time. Pesky things.

Love the new header, and the garden looks fantastic too. We get lots of Large Whites in the garden, but very few caterpillars. I think they breed on the common. I don’t know why I said that, I’m probably tempting fate and will have a caterpillar plague next year!

Arghhh! Those caterpillars are very impolite! Spoiling a nice relaxing peruse of the garden. Love the cup in hand, just perfect. Not those rude fellows on the cress however. The nerve!
