A little colour to lift the spirits – if I can see it through the dust
I am trying to cheer myself up. Admiring the Orchids helps as they are very colourful at the moment.
Why do my spirits need a boost?
Well I am feeling a little dusty. A little grey.
You see I am having a spanking new bathroom installed.
This is good news, but there is a downside - for this is a one bathroom house.
Sigh!
Even the cats have acquired a fine coating of grey on their fur.
Although the builders have been careful the whole house needs dusting. I try to console myself by imagining a bright, shiny new bathroom….but it is difficult.
Perhaps a glass of wine and a chocolate would help!

Poor you – much wine and chocolate I think.
Orchids are OK and colourfull … but I love, love, love your seagulls on the windowsill
I am pleased the orchids are chearing you . Alterations really are a pain while they are being done but concentrate on the end result.
Himself has just installed a new bathroom – major project but we are lucky enough to have a spare. Hope that is not long before it is done and dusted and you can have a good long soak to wash off the grey. Keep up the choccie and wine consumption in the meantime :)
Several glasses and a lot of very good quality chocolate will do the trick!

EG, I agree with the wine and the chocolate…clink! Your orchids are lovely! And like Karen, I’ve fallen for your seagulls too!
You poor things! While getting a shiny new bathroom will be grand, too bad you can’t fast forward the whole process and be done already. May it go quickly and smoothly. :-)

nother vote for your seagulls!
I hope your project goes quickly. I can sympathize, recently went through an unwanted kitchen remodel, the dust gets old quickly. You’ll feel better quickly once it’s done and you can give everything a good cleaning. So frustrating at this stage, where once you clean, everything just gets dusty right away again.
