Paul Gallico provided one of his cats with the motto 'When in doubt, wash'.

It seems you share mine - "Don't do it. Photo it."

Can I join your club? My memory seems to get shorter and shorter.
By the way, it's true that Aronia berries aren't very tasteful when eaten raw, but as a jam...super!

A sieve, good analogy, EG! Too much data on the old hard drive and a slow processor, needs an update, or more memory. I make the request, name of song or band that played it, or some other bit of minutiae, and then try to forget about it. It might pop up to the forefront of the mind a day later, it used to only be an hour or two. I worry when it never pops up at all though. Thank goodness for google. :-)

Well maybe it is as with our delete button on the computer... our brain has a delete button too... I am hoping it is just that we have too much on our hard drive... our brain can only store so much. It is amazing what I can remember while forgetting other ... people, experiences, and what to do tomorrow... for long ago and quite recent. I have so many notes that I forget to write who, where, when and how on... then they tend to get lost as well. It seems age is not the only factor here as younger folks tell me they too can walk into a room and forget what they were going for! Now is it Gingko that is suppose to be good for our memory? I forget! Carol

Excellent another Tru Blood fan, coming soon to channel 4 on 7th October.

As for the sticky notes, I found I was loosing my notes or bits of paper so I use a bit of free software called sticky notes for the Mac and its also available for the PC which literally sticks bits of paper to your desktop. Quite clever really.

The time to worry is when you have several notes to yourself, with various versions of the same list on them!

It's a bit like a Venn diagram, where everything's overlapping but you can't find the most important thing you were supposed to be doing, but have forgotten what it was on any of them :(
