Blooming Friday: November, week 4 – Inside and Outside
At this time of year indoor potted plants brighten up the grey days. Here are some variegated Pelargoniums with fragrant foliage.
From the right going clockwise: P. ‘Charity’, P. ‘Snowflake’ , P. ‘Lady Plymouth’ and P. crispum ‘Variegatum’.
But outside in the garden all is dark and gloomy. A camera flash is needed to illuminate this fading flower.

Beautiful Pelargoniums! And you are so right the foliage brightens up. Have a nice week end with lots of candels.
The different greens and the shapes of the leaves are very attractive.
Attractive foliage and fragrant too! Variegated leaves make up for lack of blooms too… Nice shot of the fading flower.
Any bit of colour and joy you can get to distract from the grey is MOST welcome! :) xxx
I like your Pelargoniums a lot! Such interesting foliage and the scent can easily bring back memories of summer.
Have a great weekend!
Your Pelargoniums have a wonderful variety of colors and shapes with their leaves. Have a lovely weekend!
I see Sweet Bay said about what I was going to, about the nice assortment of scented geraniums you have. I love growing them in the summer, and try bringing them inside for the winter, but they don’t always survive. What living arrangements do yours have in the winter?
Hi EG, love the diversity of that foliage. Fragrance helps the winter seem less dreary as well.

Your Pelargoniums has really lovely ‘leafs’, I think I have someone that almost reminds me of your green to the right. It has a strong parfumelike smell, doesn’t it?In that case they are said to be good for inner climate, brings health. Today is baking day, yellow bread with saffran to bring back the sun,I hope it will returns eventuelly.. A Rubeckia in Garden is more then I can show for. Have a lovely Sunday, the first of Advent :)
Good morning EG!
I hope you had a great weekend, mine was a busy one, with for example ladies xmasmingel, xmascarols in the church and other things.
Yes, it is difficult with taken photos in these grey days, and I am not so found of using the flash – I don’t like the light of the flash, and the shadows.
Have a great week!/
