Beware what you wish for – it might come before the waterproof boots!
I have been waiting for snow to arrive. This area does not get it very often and frankly, when it does come, it is a pathetic amount that disappears in a few hours. Rubbish stuff.
But not on Thursday evening.
Had I got round to buying some winter boots – Yes.
Are they waterproof …..Nooooo…..but they look nice.
Now proper waterproof boots have been ordered via the internet because I hate shopping. Better late than never (this is the lazy person’s favourite proverb).
Will they come before Christmas…..probably not. But at least I have made an effort to keep my feet dry.
I still think snow makes everything look beautiful, even if I had to dry out my shoes after I took these pictures.
Hurry up boots!

lol, lots of snow here as well. Funny, never used to be before christmas. Yes, snow makes things beautiful. But not for long. Hope your boots caomes soon, before the snow melts and get really wet. :)
Ooh, your welcome to it.
Your pics are nice though. I like snow really but I don’t like the cold.
It’s so beautiful and then the reality sets in! Hope your boots arrive, soon. gail
I want some too :)
Hi,
I know what you are saying. My boots are real good ones but all the wet, dry and mud this past year has ruined them. Hope those boots arrive soon.
P.S. Like your new header.
Jealousy. Jealousy. I want some. Jealousy.

The snow pictures are beautiful; Everything looks new and fresh. Hope you get your boots soon to have a trial run! Have a lovely Xmas and a happy New Year.
thank you for getting your feet wet to enable us to see these wonderful pics. Yes, doesn’t the snow make everything look pretty and so different? Fortunately or not, it never snows round here.
Lovely shots boots or no boots it was worth it.
You have beautiful photographs of a beautiful snowfall. Here in New England the snow has fallen and frozen. I expect it will last into March. These mild autumns seem to presage long cold springs.
Oh, you guys got snow before us this year! We had a horrid few weeks of extreme frost but no snow. Can’t say I was sad, although I do love how everything looks under a blanket of white, as you show so beautifully. It’s just the getting around that sucks. And the freezing toes, as you say. Hope your boots arrive pronto! I just bought some rain boots yesterday, after living most of my life in Seattle, so your proverb definitely applies to me as well. Cheers!
Everything looks so beautiful….so magical!
Gorgeous. What a treat!
Lovely photos. We’ve just had hard frosts. Hope your boots come soon.
