Blooming Friday: December, week 3 – new bulbs
I could not resist the half price bulb sale when I visited the plant shop at Wisley. I will put them all in pots as it is too late to plant them outside.
I hope they will feature in Blooming Friday 2010!
- Allium macleanii
- Allium ‘Gladiator’
- Allium aflatunense
- Allium ‘Early Emperor’
- Eremurus isabellinus ‘Pinokkio’
- Tulipa ‘Spring Green’
- Tulipa ‘Andre Rieu’
Thanks to Katarina at Roses and Stuff for hosting Blooming Friday.

Great buys! I love these sales…I have some, too and just need the ground to dry. gail
Those are all excellent choices, EG, on sale or not! The Eremurus is something I lust after, and keep trying even though every planting has resulted in total failure. I keep thinking if only just the right spot can be found….
