Blooming Friday: February, week 3 – Winter hanging basket
I made up a hanging basket in October and filled it with Cyclamen and Violas for colour, plus a selection of evergreens. The shiny Sedum on the right was supposed to turn red during the cold weather.
Then came winter. Now the poor Sedum looks dead and the flowers have gone into hiding.
Thanks to Katarina at Roses and Stuff for hosting Blooming Friday.

Oh, no, that is too sad. Hopefully we’ll get a few rays of warming sun sin and your basket can revive.
One of my fingers is covered with a plaster, I suppose that’s why my typing isn’t up for it. It should be “soon” of course, not “sin”.
The spring is coming, (I’m hope) but very slowly.
Happy Blooming Friday..Luna
The cold weather has a lot to answer to hasn’t it. It did look beautiful in October though.
Snap now I have some polyanthus to pop in the spaces
Thank you for your lovely comment in my blog! Yes we need a lot of colorful eyecandy right now! The wintertime seem to never end. It´s a beautiful picture you show us at first. I thought it was from last spring, but then I read October.Fantastic!

Nice to meet you and thanks for your visit.
Good idea to pop a shiny Sedum in a basket or tub.
Looks like a jade plant? No?
It did look lovely in October… :)
Beautiful basket! Before the winter came……
We’ve had about 50 cm of new snow tonight so the winter here is not going away for a long time……..
Have a nice weekend. /Anette
That’s too bad – but hopefully the plants are only asleep… It was a beautiful arrangement in October.
Enjoy the weekend!
Hopefully they will come again. Have a nice week end!
Lovely pictures and a sad story… But soon (I really hope) comes spring again!
It’s a lovely arrangement and you will be so thrilled when the blooms come back-I’m sure they will!!
