The disconnected Blogger
All is not well at Greenforks on the blogging front. I am posting this from my son’s house.
For a number of reasons that I will not bore you with we have lost our telephone landline and with it our broadband connection. What was meant to be a delay of a few days before service is restored has now turned into 2-3 weeks.
The whole thing has been so aggravating that we have changed our suppliers and restarted the process from scratch. Hopefully we will have everything back to normal on 7th February but I am not holding my breath.
Here is a pretty flower to lighten the mood!

It is one of those things that will keep coming. …. and will definitely cause a bit of discomfort…. I hope it will be back soon!
Better your internet than your house!
We need to change our provider too (to a cheaper one!). I keep putting off the move for fear of a hiatus that is likely to ensue. Tried to change once but the new provider didn’t provide (despite taking our money) and we ended up paying the old one at the same time for several months before giving up on the change.
Hope yours is all sorted soon.
Good to have a handy son!
good luck with getting re-connected. From time to time I try to take a little break from blogging, just to see what might happen. So far – nothing, it;s like housework and weeding, still there when you get back! But having said that it is a drag – we just want these tech. things to go smoothly, don’t we?
I bet you re-discover lots of things you used to do before you blogged! Hope you arent inconvinced for too long
It’s so annoying when things like this happen and just shows how reliant we have become on so much technology. We didn’t have broadband for 3 weeks last year due to a fault and it was so annoying. Hopefully you’ll have everything up and running again soon.
Your post was restrained as I know the rage I feel when faced with such frustrations. You have no internet and I have snowdrops without flowers again this year. Look forward to having you back though
Hi Denise; the snowdrops are very beautiful and I am sure help you around your frust about the internet connection. It is a nuisance when it does not work! I am not so much blogging anymore and I don’t do any memes. It was fun for a while. The garden seems to get bigger as I get older!! I would never give it up… Have a happy time, soon spring arrives and you will be busy, busy.
All my best wishes T♥
